BACKPACKERS TOUR Traveling by sailboat from Colombia to Panama (or reverse) via the San Blas islands is a once in a lifetime experience. Because there is not an overland route between the countries, our trip offers backpackers a spectacular and unique way to travel between South and Central America. The 361 Sailing adventure includes 4 full days and 3 nights in San Blas, and 2 days sailing the Caribbean Sea. This unique tour gives you the chance to interact with the indigenous people and culture of Kuna Yala, snorkel in some of the most remote and beautiful waters in the world, and experience sailing first hand! Our tour includes visiting a remote island, interacting with a Kuna family, and a visit a traditional Kuna village. If you are traveling from Cartagena to Panama your tour will end in Porvenir Island, San Blas. From this point you take a short powerboat ride to the mainland and then an exciting overland journey in a 4x4 vehicle through the Panamian jungle to Panama City (we will coordinate all the arrangements). If traveling from Panama to Colombia, you will meet 361 Sailing on Porvenir Island, San Blas. Your tour will finish in the Club Nautico Marina, Cartagena. A center of culture in Colombia, Cartagena attracts travelers from all over the world and has an exciting Latin nightlife. CARTAGENA / ROSARIO & SAN BERNARDIO ISLANDS TOUR Discover the beauty of the historic city of Cartagena and its Rosario Islands! Located on the Caribbean Sea, Cartagena is a romantic city that enchants its visitors with its colonial atmosphere. Take a 1 day tour around the bay surrounded by one of the most vibrant boating cultures in the world, or join 361 Sailing for one of our 2, 3, or 4 days tours to the beautiful Roasario Islands. Just 20 miles (30 km) off the coast, the Islas del Rosario are a group of islands nestled in clear, blue waters, ideal for snorkeling, scuba diving or just relaxing and forgetting about the world. For those desiring more sailing time, we can also customize a tour that includes the beautiful San Bernardo Islands and Isla Fuerta. These tours begin and end in Cartagena, Colombia.

SCUBA DIVING ADVENTURE TO ROSARIO & SAN BERNARDIO ISLANDS What better way to scuba dive than from your own private sailboat! 361 Sailing offers individual or group diving trips to the Rosario and San Bernardio Islands in conjution with our diving school partners on the islands. Spend each day diving in some of the best scuba spots in the Caribbean Sea and each night at a different and beautiful anchorage! And, if you are not a certified diver you can get your PADI certification during the tour! These tours begin and end in Cartagena, Colombia.

FREE DIVE (APNEA DIVE) TO SAN BLAS Starting your tour from Carpunguna, Colombia is another great way to experience more sailing time and have the opportunity to travel to the San Blas Islands, Panama. The coastal town of Carpunguna is an enchanting place with no cars, where your taxi from the airport is a traditional mule pulled cart; and Carpunguna offers easy air connections to the major cities of Colombia. After meeting the boat in the beautiful bay of Sapzurro (the neighboring town), we will have a exhiliritaing day sail to the eastern islands of San Blas. Depending on the length of your tour, you can expect to visit a remote island with excelling snorkeling and reefs, interact with a Kuna family, and visit a traditional Kuna village. And you will have the opportunity to learn and practice the Apnea Dive skills which will enhance your snorkeling experience in San Blas.

LEARN TO SAIL ADVENTURE Want to learn how to sail? 361 Sailing offers customized tours from 1-4 weeks introducing the beginner to the fundementals or the advanced student to specialized techniques. This tour is open to individuals or groups and the location and details are customized to suit the student or group’s needs.

THE BOAT The 361 Sailing vessel is a Beneteau Oceanis sloop rigged sailboat especially designed for charters. She consists of three private double cabins, one bathroom, large salon, fully equipped kitchen, and a roomy cockpit. The safety equipment includes a Raymarine Chartplotter, two GPS’s, Raymarine auto-pilot, depth sounder, SPOT safety finder, VHF radio, 8-man zodiac liferaft, and all US Coast Guard required safety equipment. And for fun, the boat comes equipped with a windsurf board, 2 seater inflatable kayak, snorkel gear, and loads of pool toys and floats! Your Captain, German Perez has been sailing since 1998. He has hosted numerous charters in both Panama and Colombia for tourists from around the world and is fluent in Spanish and English. German holds a Yacht Masters License and has sailed over 20,000 nautical miles.
